Terms and Conditions
These terms are between you and Invoi (run by James Touri), in California, USA. They cover the Invoi text line and the reports we send back.
The service
Invoi lets a service operator text job details and photos to (925) 304-3599 and get back a finished, ready-to-send proof-of-work report. Signing up is texting that number. There is no app to install.
The report is drafted from what you send. Read it before you rely on it or pass it on. You are responsible for the work, the details, and any license or permit the job requires.
SMS program
The text program is called Invoi.
Invoi sends job reports, and account and service notifications.
You give consent by texting +1 (925) 304-3599.
Message frequency varies.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase. How we handle messages is on the Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
Use the line for job notes and photos you are allowed to share. Do not send unlawful content, do not use the line to harass anyone, and do not try to disrupt or break the service. We may refuse a message that breaks these terms.
Your content
You keep ownership of the messages, photos, and job details you send. You give Invoi a license to host, store, copy, and process that content, including with AI, so we can draft the report, send it to you, and send it to a client when you ask. The license covers only what is needed to run the service. It ends when we delete the content, except for copies we must keep for security, a STOP record, or the law.
Payments
Payment happens before a report is sent. There is no pay button in the report or in the texts. We tell you the amount before you pay. We do not charge you inside a text message.
Disclaimers
Invoi is provided as is. We do not promise that a report is error-free, that a text will arrive on time, or that the service will be uninterrupted. A report is a draft from your notes and photos. It is not a permit, an inspection, or legal advice.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Invoi and James Touri are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or a delayed or undelivered message. Our total liability for a claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us for Invoi in the three months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits. Where they do not, the limit is the strongest the law allows.
Termination
You can stop texts at any time by replying STOP. Email james@getinvoi.com if you want us to close the account and delete stored job content. We can suspend or end access if you break these terms, if we must for security, or if we stop offering Invoi. When we can, we will tell you first.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are handled in the state or federal courts located in California, and you agree to those courts.
Changes
We can update these terms. The new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If you keep using Invoi after that date, the new terms apply.
